Is a membership to a 30 minute circuit gym a good idea?

Dear Cynthia,
If you are brand new to exercising, the 30 minute circuit workouts are a great way to get started.  I would highly recommend it, but you might not want to sign a long-term contract.  If you are faithful to your exercising and go several times a week, you will progress past what these gyms can offer you in 6 months or less.  At this point, you will need a gym with more to offer - aerobics classes, indoor cycling and more advanced weight training equipment - maybe even a swimming pool.  If you want to avoid the dreaded plateau, you have to keep constantly changing your workout and challenging yourself with new things.  Whatever you decide to do, be creative and you will enjoy your workout even more!
